4

Send emoji reactions

Click the reaction button (smiley face icon) below the video to send floating emoji reactions. They appear as animated overlays on the stream for everyone to see.

5

Follow a creator

Click the creator's name or avatar to open their profile. Click the 'Follow' button to subscribe. You'll receive a push notification the next time they go live.

Enable browser notifications when prompted so you never miss a stream from your favourite creators.

6

Send a gift

Click the Gift icon (🎁) in the watch page controls. A gift gallery opens showing all available gifts with their coin costs. Select a gift and confirm to send it. The creator sees an animated gift rain on their screen.

Gifts require SycaStream coins. Visit your profile → Wallet to top up.

For Creators

Set up your stream, go live, and grow your audience.

1

Complete creator onboarding

After signing in, click your avatar → 'Creator Dashboard' → 'Get Started'. The onboarding wizard walks you through setting a stream title, choosing categories, and granting camera/microphone permissions.

Grant camera and microphone permissions when your browser asks — SycaStream needs them to capture your stream.

2

Click 'Go Live' in the header

Click the pink 'Go Live' button in the top navigation bar. The Go Live page opens with a live preview of your camera on the left and stream controls on the right.

3

Set your stream title and category

In the right panel, enter a descriptive stream title (e.g. 'Live Music — Chill Vibes') and select a category. A clear title helps viewers find your stream in search and trending.

4

Check your camera and microphone

The preview window shows your live camera feed. Use the Mic and Camera toggle buttons in the control bar to mute/unmute. The green audio meter shows your microphone level — aim for it to reach roughly 60–80% when speaking.

Test your audio level before going live. If the meter is too low, move closer to your microphone or increase system input volume.

5

Click 'Start Stream'

When you're ready, click the 'Start Stream' button. A countdown appears (3–2–1), then your stream goes live. Your followers receive a push notification and your stream appears in the Explore feed.

Make sure your internet connection is stable. SycaStream recommends at least 5 Mbps upload speed for smooth 720p streaming.

6

Manage your live chat

The chat panel on the right shows viewer messages in real time. You can pin important messages, delete spam, or mute disruptive viewers using the moderation controls (three-dot menu next to each message).

7

Apply video filters and backgrounds

Click the Filter icon in the control bar to open the filter gallery. Choose from beauty filters, colour grades, or virtual backgrounds (country flags, seasonal themes, office settings, or custom colours).

Virtual backgrounds work best with good lighting and a plain wall behind you.

8

End your stream

Click the red 'End Stream' button in the bottom control bar. Confirm in the dialog. Your stream is saved as a VOD (Video on Demand) and appears in your creator profile for viewers to replay.

Screen Sharing

Share your screen, game, or a video file during a live stream.

1

Start a stream first

Screen sharing is only available while you are live. Start your stream (see For Creators, Step 5) before attempting to share your screen.

2

Click the Screen Share icon

In the bottom control bar, click the Monitor icon (Screen Share). A panel opens with three options: Share Screen, Share a Video File, or Stop Sharing.

3

Choose what to share

Your browser will show a picker with three tabs: Entire Screen, Window, or Browser Tab. Select the one you want and click 'Share'. A blue 'Screen sharing live' badge will appear on your stream view to confirm.

For gaming, choose 'Window' and select your game window. For tutorials, choose 'Browser Tab' to share only that tab.

4

Share system audio (optional)

When the browser share dialog appears, check 'Share system audio' (or 'Share tab audio' for tab sharing). This lets viewers hear your game or video audio. Use the System Audio Volume slider in the Advanced panel to balance game vs. mic volume.

System audio sharing is only available in Chrome and Edge. Firefox does not support it.

5

Stop screen sharing

Click the Screen Share icon again → 'Stop Sharing', or click the browser's built-in 'Stop sharing' button in the taskbar. A green 'Camera restored — viewers see you' badge confirms your face-cam is back on screen.

Gifts & Tipping

Support your favourite creators with virtual gifts.

1

Open the gift gallery

While watching a live stream, click the Gift icon (🎁) in the viewer controls below the video. The gift gallery slides up showing all available gifts sorted by value.

Select a gift

Each gift shows its coin cost. Tap a gift to select it. A confirmation dialog shows the gift name, cost, and a 'Send' button.

Sending multiple gifts in quick succession triggers a combo multiplier — the creator sees an even bigger gift rain animation!

3

Confirm and send

Click 'Send Gift'. The coins are deducted from your wallet instantly. The creator sees an animated gift rain overlay on their live view, and all viewers see the gift notification in the chat.

4

Top up your coin wallet

Click your avatar → 'Wallet' to see your coin balance and purchase more coins. Coins can be used for gifts and to unlock premium features.

Creator Battles

Challenge another creator to a live battle and let viewers decide the winner.

1

Both creators must be live

A battle can only start when both you and your opponent are actively streaming. Make sure you are both live before sending a challenge.

2

Send a battle challenge

In the Go Live control bar, click the Swords icon → 'Challenge Creator'. Search for the creator you want to battle and click 'Send Challenge'. They receive a notification.

3

Battle runs for up to 3 minutes

When the opponent accepts, a split-screen battle view starts. Viewers send gifts to their favourite creator — each gift adds points. A live score ticker shows who is winning.

Engage your audience with energy and entertainment to encourage more gifts during the battle.

4

Winner is announced

When the 3-minute timer ends, the creator with the highest gift score wins. A winner announcement overlay appears on both streams and in the chat.

Tips & Tricks

Get the most out of SycaStream with these pro tips.

Enable notifications

Allow browser notifications so you get alerted the moment a creator you follow goes live — never miss a stream.

Stream consistently

Creators who go live at the same time each day grow their audience 5× faster. Pick a schedule and stick to it.

Use hashtags

Add relevant hashtags to your stream title (e.g. #music #gaming #live) to appear in hashtag search results.

Good lighting matters

Natural light from a window in front of you (not behind) makes a huge difference. A ring light is even better.

Audio quality first

Viewers tolerate average video but not bad audio. Use a headset or external microphone for clear, echo-free sound.

Share your stream link

Copy your stream URL from the share button and post it on Telegram, Instagram, X, or YouTube to drive new viewers.

Enter the leaderboard

The weekly leaderboard ranks top creators by gifts received. Appearing in the top 10 drives massive organic discovery.

Moderate your chat

Use the moderation tools to mute or ban disruptive users. A positive chat environment keeps viewers coming back.
